Caroline kicked off her animal training career at the wise age of nine years old. She charged three bucks an hour to walk your dog like and would hop on the bus on the weekends to commute to local horse ranches. In her downtime she watched animal training shows and read every dog and horse breed book the library had.

Caroline's Animal Training

Her business functions as a way to help some of the most "difficult" animals out there and rehabilitate them.  At the same time she strives to develop highly skilled working dogs and horses while creating jobs for youth who are passionate about animals.

A few things I've learned...

Animals need a healthy balance of discipline and rewards...a balance that is unique to each personality and animal.  Just as two people are never the same, two animals are never the same and each animal needs a different and unique approach.

Both dogs and horses were bred to work and thrive on learning and being needed.  Whether that is protection, moving cattle, sport, detection, hunting, herding, guarding...the list goes on. Every breed was created with a purpose in mind and it is our responsibility to help fulfill that drive in them.

The number one most important part of training is...yourself.  We should be patient yet firm, have fun but also remain disciplined, be humble yet also confident, healthy balance is key.  Our animals reflect our flaws, and the best thing we can do for them is work through our own insecurities, pride, fears, and anger.  They can read our emotions often better than we can!

IT WAS ME...I LET THE DOGS OUT.
